    • Amazing weekend break away, just what we needed it was so peaceful. We have stayed in a few locations but this is one of our favourites, the stunning views were breathtaking to wake up to. Very helpful hosts and always contactable but also left us to have our own space and privacy. I would definitely recommend staying here!

    • Well, another blissful weekend at the Yurts. This time we had the weather with us and it was perfect- sunny and blowy, with chilly nights. Perfect yurt weather and Cynwyd weather as the walks through the woods and up by the waterfall are beautiful. As before, the yurts were equipped with logs, blankets and cushions for a cosy time In the evenings and everything was spotlessly clean. We were in the big yurt this time and it was fabulous. So much room. Very comfortable beds, a piping hot three way shower and well equipped kitchen makes it top glamping. Unforgettable and soooo relaxing.

    Ty Mam Mawr (The House of the Great Mother) is an intimate off grid eco retreat centre. She nestles deep in Cynwyd Forest high in the Berwyn Mountains of North Wales and is a fantastic venue for intimate events, workshops and residential retreats.

    A secluded off grid low impact property surrounded by woodland and hills under clear skies with no light pollution. Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the doorstep and Snowdonia National Park nearby.

    Deep peace pervades. Silence…with only the sounds of abundant nature. Breathe fresh clean air and enjoy the gorgeous mountain spring water.
