Spaces & Accommodation
Centred around a magnificent modern straw bale roundhouse, accommodation is provided in two gorgeous yurts. There's a fully equipped kitchen in the log cabin with a small dining area plus a shower room/toilet and another smaller log cabin kitchenette with a compost loo and shower.
The roundhouse will very comfortably seat 20-25 people or to look at it another way, there's space for 8-10 yogis. Up to 6 guests can sleep in the roundhouse, whilst the yurts will accommodate a maximum of 12 guests between them.
Seats and fire bowls next to each yurt and a main central firepit near the roundhouse provide further communal spaces. The roundhouse and yurts are heated with wood burning stoves.
We may be 'off grid', but in terms of facilities you wouldn't know it! Plenty of hot water, a power shower, electricity in all the spaces and WiFi if required.View Spaces and Accommodation

What an incredible place. I can’t recommend this enough, get off the grid and unwind for a weekend!
Nathan and Shayne are fantastic hosts who communicated really well and looked after us throughout the stay.
They were happy to recommend anything locally but also left us to it in the yurt.
Couldn’t ask for more for a weekend away relaxing.
Thanks both for a top weekend! - 11 Mar 2018
Really lovely surroundings. Nathan was easy going (Shayne was away, but I am sure she is also lovely!) and the yurt was a perfect little hub. We walked up the big hill with huge backpacks and I have to say the reward felt greater! Buuuuutt take up Shayne and Nathan’s offer for a lift if available. You’ll be thankful later - 29 Jan 2020
It was beautiful. Brought us back to nature. Saw the pheasants. Fed the chickens. Freedom to potter around the area. We watched the sunset lying in the hammock by the outdoor fire. Nathan was cheery and helpful and made us feel at home. The yurt was cosy with little stove. Great facilities - shower, kitchen. We had great experience. - 24 Jun 2018Zaka Gibbard
Visiting here for a retreat was very nourishing on many levels. The landscape was idyllic and captivating with some beautiful walks in nature nearby (and swims for those that dared!). Shayne and Nathan were excellent hosts who made the stay very comfortable and the roundhouse was a very peaceful and warm place to meditate. The food served was delicious and we ended up staying an extra day as we liked the place so much. Will definitely visit again! - 13 Jun 2018

What a privilege to have spent 3 days on a White Lion retreat, the 13 Laws of Lionhearted leadership, with Linda Tucker and Julie Lines, in this place...PURE MAGIC .... the love shayne and Nathan have put into creating this very special place is abundant, all feels in harmony with the beauty and deep quiet of nature that surrounds it . The Mongolian yurt is gorgeous, and the round house a wonderful space to work in .........and it's all off grid... the dogs and chickens integrate with whatever is going on as equals , there is... read more - 08 May 2018
Very quiet and peaceful holiday which was perfect for us and our dog. Great location with many walks close by, to get further afield into snowdonia it took us roughly a 1 hour drive each time but this gave us great opportunity to stop off at beauty spots. It can get very cold in the yurt at night so the use of the wood stove is very much needed and the included free bucket of logs you get lasts at least 5 days. You share the kitchen and bathroom with the smaller yurt which everytime was clean and had... read more - 05 Jul 2019Rebecca
Of all the places we have stayed, this was the most magical and refreshing one to date. The location is breathtaking, fresh air and gorgeous views. The yurt is so cosy and beautiful. We drove 50mins and climbed Snowden. There is a village 5 minutes away. Shayne and Nathan were excellent hosts. - 21 Oct 2019
Absolutely fantastic stay! Not only was it a beautiful location but the hospitality during our time there made us wish we could have stayed longer!
Hosts welcomed our dog, who thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the other pets and wildlife. They were very accommodating of this and ensuring we had everything we required.
Yurt itself and decor created a peaceful ambience and we were supplied with enough wood to keep the fire going! Would definitely recommend a stay here with themes superb hosts - 11 Apr 2019Lesley
Most relaxing break ever, we will be back. Shared kitchen is excellent and shower/toilet spotless.
Loved the yurt, warm, cosy and comfy on the frosty cold first night.
Lucky to get a sunny Saturday in Wales and I just wanted to sit and swing in the hammock chair :)
Fell in love with the chucks too! I felt right at home in this beautiful spot. The outdoor spaces are excellent.
Lovely host nathan made us feel most welcome - 07 Apr 2019
Really fantastic place, very peaceful with beautiful views. Yurt was truly cosy, once the fire got going it was lovely and toasty despite being 1 degree outside. Hosts were super hospitable even when we got very very lost! Great facilities for cooking, eating and socialising. Very friendly dogs even came to say hello which was a lovely surprise! Already planning on coming back soon! - 30 Nov 2018Vicki
A very relaxing stay. Off grid and very peaceful. Very clean facilities including kitchen facilities and shower/toilet room.
The hammocks on the decking were great... lovely to chill out on after a day of exploring North Wales.
Literally the only noise to be heard is that of the woodpecker and cuckoo of a morning and an owl... which was a lovely sound to hear.
Shayne and Nathan although not there on arrival (as we arrived a little later than we expected) ensured we had all the information we required and Shayne came to greet us the following day when we were... read more - 19 Jun 2018
An amazing place to stay with plenty of walking routes nearby. Luckily the weather wasn't too cold for a January visit but the fire made the yurt very cosy for the evenings. Worth knowing that the kitchen is well stocked with utensils so great if you are wanting to cook from scratch. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're after a peaceful getaway! - 26 Jan 2020Natasha
The yurt was an amazing weekend break away! Perfect opportunity to relax and explore some of the beautiful welsh countryside! The yurt itself was very nicely decorated and the log burner kept us nice and toasty at night. Nathan was a great host and gave us lots of tips of where to go walking and was very welcoming. Overall a great experience and we will hopefully get chance to go back at some point in the future! :) - 18 Nov 2018
One of the rare places you stumble across on Airbnb, get super excited about, and it lives up to and even surpasses expectations! A beautiful place in a magical location!!
Nathan and Shayne were both lovely, welcoming and attentive hosts, we had everything we needed and our stay was not only a breeze but also very relaxing and chilled!!
I could easily return time and time again! And hopefully will!
Thanks a bunch and see you soon - 21 Oct 2018Gemma
We stayed in the bigger yert, and didnt use the log cabin at all expect for rubbish, as we wanted to experience off the grid living as much as possible. We cooked on the fire pit and heated food up in the stove. To do this you have to take your own cooking equipment. I'd also take an ex so you can go get your own logs. If you want to experience off the grid living but still want a bed and hot shower this place will defo give you that. Lovely views, it's quite privet, think we bumbed... read more - 03 Jun 2019Hussain
Highly recommened this booking! We found it cosy even at night despite minus temperatures thanks to the wood burners so dont let the time of year put you off.
On arrival the yurts and kitchen were very clean and the lovely hosts were always available if needed but allowed us pur privacy. Personally the best part of the experience was the most beautiful walks without the need for a car to get there. The children loved the friendly dogs the most and enjoying being with the family in the evening playing games. The place has something for everyone! - 05 Jan 2019
Everything about this place is fantastic and highly recommended. The hospitality from Nathan and Shayne is great and the yurt itself is cosy and welcoming, but also wonderfully spacious. The facilities are clean and well equipped, remarkable when you are so rural and off grid. The setting is peaceful and scenic but the nearby Corwen has most amenities. A great base for walking, mountain biking or just lying by the fire reading. - 04 Nov 2017
Absolutely brilliant stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Been to Wales many years ago and had forgotten what a wonderfully amazing part of the world Wales is. So green, full of valleys. Loveeeeeedddddd the yurt, the location, amenities (you thought of everything), the marshmallows around the fire watching the sunset. gorgeous walks on your doorstep. You made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We will be booking to come again with family and also with girlfriends. So wonderful to be reminded of the importance of positive well being, self reflection and connection to nature. We both hit the pause button... read more - 12 Oct 2017
We had a lovely time staying in the yurt. The lighting and the decor make it a very relaxing place to be. The wood stove was perfect for keeping it nice and warm and Nathan had plenty of logs and firestarters available throughout our stay. Both the yurt and the wood cabin were clean and we had no complaints with anything. Nathan is very genuine and hospitable, which helped to make our stay in Wales even better. We would definetly recommend staying here if you're looking somewhere quiet, beautiful and a bit different than your run of the mill hotel. - 22 Dec 2017Edward
This is the second time we stayed here and, just as expected, we had a fantastic time. Our daily adventures in the local forests ended with a hearty BBQ in the idyllic setting, then a cosy fire in the gorgeous yurt. Perfect!! Shayne and Nathan are breath of fresh air - down to earth, friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you! - 17 Jul 2020
We spent a great night in Nathan and Shayne's yurt. It was lovely and cosy with the woodburner on and there was plenty room for 5 of us.
It is in a great setting, the kids loved playing with Ruby the dog and we had a lovely walk in the forest before leaving.
Would love to visit again. - 03 Apr 2018Claire
We were blessed to have had a Heavenly stay in this sanctuary of sorts that was so lovingly dreamed into being by the wonderful Nathan and Shayne. Peacefully surrounded by beautiful nature whilst sleeping in a magical yurt knowing that it’s in an ecologically minded way is truly a gift! We are so thankful to the both of them and from the heart recommend a stay here. - 28 Jun 2018
