Spaces & Accommodation

We love to help you feel at home.

Centred around a magnificent modern straw bale roundhouse, accommodation is provided in two gorgeous yurts. There's a fully equipped kitchen in the log cabin with a small dining area plus a shower room/toilet and another smaller log cabin kitchenette with a compost loo and shower.

The roundhouse will very comfortably seat 20-25 people or to look at it another way, there's space for 8-10 yogis. Up to 6 guests can sleep in the roundhouse, whilst the yurts will accommodate a maximum of 12 guests between them.

Seats and fire bowls next to each yurt and a main central firepit near the roundhouse provide further communal spaces. The roundhouse and yurts are heated with wood burning stoves.

We may be 'off grid', but in terms of facilities you wouldn't know it! Plenty of hot water, a power shower, electricity in all the spaces and WiFi if required.

An amazing place to stay with plenty of walking routes nearby. Luckily the weather wasn't too cold for a January visit but the fire made the yurt very cosy for the evenings. Worth knowing that the kitchen is well stocked with utensils so great if you are wanting to cook from scratch. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're after a peaceful getaway! - 26 Jan 2020

Such a fantastic place to stay, right in the middle of the countryside. An hour to Snowdon an hour to the coast... brilliant. The fire in the yurt kept the room toastie, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a Christmas roast and the shower had lovely hot water. Highly recommend! - 28 Dec 2019

Shayne and Nathan were superb hosts- nothing was ever too much trouble and they thought of everything. The yurt was clean and designed so well- absolutely loved our stay there- definitely be great to go back in the summer time. It had been snowing during our visit but the yurt itself was so warm and cosy we looked forward to our cosy nights in after a day of exploring. Kitchen has everything you need and so interesting how they generate own energy. Really is a relaxing stay away- missing it already! Definitely a chilled eco friendly mini break! Enchanting, exhilarating, like staying in a living painting. The location is stunning 400m up hugged by the valley & pines. The yurt was a snug Bohemian heaven. All you could want ‘off the grid’! Very impressive amenities, water from the spring, electricity from the solar panels.... Very effective log burners. Easy & accessible to get there. As for the hosts, just beautiful people. All expectations exceeded!! I will be back! - 17 Nov 2019

Two of us stayed in the larger yurt for 3 nights: it was a beautiful and luxurious space with lovely attention to detail. We stayed when it was wet, windy and cold, and had a great time, cosy in the yurt with the fire going. We couldn't believe how warm we were - hardly left it except for a walk through the forests and into the empty mountains! The compost loo and the little outdoor kitchen just meters away were really convenient, and the main kitchen and bathroom was only a few steps up the hill when needed. Shayne and Nathan’s yurt is absolutely beautiful. The decor is very attractive and colourful and the yurt feels so cosy with the log burning stove on. The scenery surrounding the yurt is absolutely stunning and there are also interesting and picturesque towns to visit nearby. The cooking, bathroom and shower facilities were beyond anything we expected and made the stay practical and easy. We would highly recommend staying here. - 24 Sep 2019

Staying here exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect secluded haven for a much needed nurturing time. Immersed in nature in a stunning clean yurt, adjacent to a super well equipped cabin. We had all the facilities needed for a short break. Clean air in superb settings, no light pollution enabled nights to be filled with clear views of star filled evenings. Wonderful part of the country. Drive through Snowdonia to the west coast while you're there. Great for recharging and spending quality time with loved ones. Can get chilly in the night this time of year so make sure you've always got wood for the log burner.
Shayne & Nathan are very welcoming and were quick to respond to any questions.

Firstly, what a Stunning location, beautifully furnished yurt, so peaceful and relaxing, we were lucky to have good weather, chilly and frosty, but that also brought wonderful sunsets, the log burner soon warms the lovely yurt up. We sat outside wrapped up in our blankets, nice mug of hot chocolate, and mulled wine in the hammocks, enjoying the endless change of scenery throughout our trip.
Shayne and Nathan are such a lovely couple, not to forget the lovely dogs Tilly and Ruby, who were kind enough to take us on a walk around the forest.

Wow, what a lovely 4 days we have had at this beautiful yurt. Nathan and Shayne are great hosts very warm and friendly with lots of advice on local walks to hand. The yurt it’s self is truly amazing and it has its own little garden area with fire pit/bbq, chairs and table. The perfect place to come back to chill after a nice long walk and toast some marshmallows which went down a treat with our 6 year old son. I really can’t rate this pace enough.
