Greener Glamping

Posted on October 4, 2020October 4, 2020 by Nathan Green

So we are really pleased to announce that not only have we been certificated by the Greener Camping Club, we’ve also now sent our new Greener Glamping website live at greenerglamping.uk.

Our new site is specifically for renting the yurts only and not the whole of Ty Mam Mawr retreat centre.

    • This was one of the best experiences ever. Surpassed anything we could have dreamed of. A cosy, romantic and just incredible few days at one with nature and with such friendship and sensitivity coming from our hosts. We loved it and can't wait to repeat.

Anyone who really wants to escape city/town life and just relax, re-charge and re-set the body and mind should come here.

Leave your worries behind and book this holiday.

    • I’ve found my new home from home. This is everything I want for myself in the future. The energy of the place just wraps you in peace, love and relaxation. I didn’t want to leave. Everything you could need is available.
The area is just beautiful, rural and wild. An abundance of wildlife, plant medicine, a foragers paradise surrounds you. There was a sweet little Robin that would sit by the yurt singing away morning, noon & night. It did rain the whole time we were there but that didn’t dampen our experience. The yurt/cabin kept us dry and oh my warm, too warm at times (not expected) that we happily cracked open the door.
We will definitely book again in the future, no question, just hopefully it will be dry so we can see the stars, sunrise and sunsets lol! Heaven.

    • We were blessed to have had a Heavenly stay in this sanctuary of sorts that was so lovingly dreamed into being by the wonderful Nathan and Shayne. Peacefully surrounded by beautiful nature whilst sleeping in a magical yurt knowing that it’s in an ecologically minded way is truly a gift! We are so thankful to the both of them and from the heart recommend a stay here.

    • I don’t know what to say really, it was perfect and Nathan was friendly and went the extra mile. I got there early, he was absolutely fine with that as it wasn’t booked the night before so accommodated fully. I was desperate for a hot drink and he made me one whilst unpacked my car. I got into the yurt and I was amazed at the space. It was clean smelt fresh lovely new bedding, it was so comfortable. I sat outside with my cuppa and was blown away by the beautiful views, wow and wow again. The kitchen has been recently painted and was spotless and cooked myself some food and ate outside as the sun went down.
I had a fantastic comfy sleep and a lovely shower in the morning. I said thank you to Nathan before I left who was so lovely what a difference a lovely host makes. I can’t wait to go back next time with my elderly dog who Nathan said was welcome he couldn’t wait to meet her. I highly recommend this place it’s more than the photos it’s clean friendly and beautiful. 10 stars

    • Would definitely recommend this stay to anybody. Beautiful forest location as described with amazing Mountain View’s and so easy to get to following the sat nav. It was snowing during our visit which made staying in the yurt so cosy and it was lovely to watch the birds and other natural wildlife in the snow whilst sipping our morning brew. Nathan was so friendly and helpful responding quickly to our messages and answering any queries we had. We didn’t manage to meet Shayne this time but hopefully we will see them both next time we book as we will sure be revisiting this yurt multiple times this year! Thankyou both for an amazing weekend :)
