If you are Looking to stay in a Yurt in a great setting look no further. I have never stayed in a yurt before and I am totally blown away. With a wood burner it’s a beautiful cosy place to stay. There is a small wood a walk away and Llangollen is only 25 minutes away. Will be back again!

What a privilege to have spent 3 days on a White Lion retreat, the 13 Laws of Lionhearted leadership, with Linda Tucker and Julie Lines, in this place...PURE MAGIC .... the love shayne and Nathan have put into creating this very special place is abundant, all feels in harmony with the beauty and deep quiet of nature that surrounds it . The Mongolian yurt is gorgeous, and the round house a wonderful space to work in .........and it's all off grid... the dogs and chickens integrate with whatever is going on as equals , there is no sense of hierarchy here,..... respect and love for all . Thank you for such a memorable time . xxx
And the name, Ty Mam Mawr, House of the Great Mother , is so fitting .

Really friendly hosts and very helpful if needed but very relaxed and leave you to it otherwise. The yurts are really beautiful, as is the setting. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchenware to cook good meals for large groups. We bought logs from Nathan and made fires in the pits in the evenings. Has the amenities and comforts of a chalet stay but still feels like you’re camping in the wild! Great stay!
