Spaces & Accommodation

We love to help you feel at home.

Centred around a magnificent modern straw bale roundhouse, accommodation is provided in two gorgeous yurts. There's a fully equipped kitchen in the log cabin with a small dining area plus a shower room/toilet and another smaller log cabin kitchenette with a compost loo and shower.

The roundhouse will very comfortably seat 20-25 people or to look at it another way, there's space for 8-10 yogis. Up to 6 guests can sleep in the roundhouse, whilst the yurts will accommodate a maximum of 12 guests between them.

Seats and fire bowls next to each yurt and a main central firepit near the roundhouse provide further communal spaces. The roundhouse and yurts are heated with wood burning stoves.

We may be 'off grid', but in terms of facilities you wouldn't know it! Plenty of hot water, a power shower, electricity in all the spaces and WiFi if required.

What a beautiful space in idyllic surroundings, perfect to unwind, relax and connect with nature. The yurt is both beautifully decorated and very cosy, the fire kept us toasty and our two 5month old twins were slept like proverbial logs. Shayne and Nathan are perfect hosts and put the cherry on top of a much needed break away. We will be back to swim in the waterfalls in summer - 19 Mar 2020

Would definitely recommend as the whole experience was perfect and there’s plenty to do in and around snowdonia.

The whole place was clean and beautiful and look forward to doing it again.

    You won’t be disappointed.

Really friendly hosts and very helpful if needed but very relaxed and leave you to it otherwise. The yurts are really beautiful, as is the setting. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchenware to cook good meals for large groups. We bought logs from Nathan and made fires in the pits in the evenings. Has the amenities and comforts of a chalet stay but still feels like you’re camping in the wild! Great stay! - 11 Aug 2019

After reading all the amazing review's on Nathan and Shaynes place we were super excited for our little break away, all expectations were met and exceeded. A beautiful space and such welcoming friendly hosts, you will not be disappointed. The yurt was cosy, clean and exactly as decipted on the photographs we viewed beforehand. There is a well equipped kitchen and fitted bathroom, though we did all our cooking on an open fire under the stars- absolute bliss. Llangollen is a beautiful town just 20 minutes drive away, we would recommend there for a day out! Though the ground and... read more - 15 Feb 2019

The yurt was a wonderful place to relax and completely escape city life for 2 nights. We could have stayed a lot longer! It was so cosy and warm with the log burner despite it being chilly outside and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were fantastic. Nathan and Shayne were very helpful and explained everything clearly when we arrived, offering us more wood after our first night too. Thanks for a lovely stay! - 15 Dec 2019

One doesn’t always write fantastic Airb&b reviews, but this is the exception.
Words do not exist to explain the utter brilliance of the yurt!

The views are spectacular, great location to travel and see the many sights in Wales.

The site it’s self and facilities are clean and well kept. We were very warm in the yurt with the duvet provided (there are extra blankets if you get cold). We loved our visit and will be back again in the future !

Our stay was perfectly timed for a nice warm Easter weekend. We were greeted by Shayne who was very attentive and made us feel at home. The yurt is lovely, just exactly what you expect, with nice views. What we really enjoyed was the birdsong, a range of finches but also woodpeckers, cuckoo and even a sighting of a sparrowhawk. There are some resident Pheasant families that will keep you amused for hours. What a special place this is! It was in exactly the location we were after for the Welsh leg of our road trip and the idea of a remote yurt certainly did appeal! The yurt was super comfortable and kept us cosy during some heavy rain. The view from the deck when the sun came out was fantastic. Kitchen cabin had everything we needed as well. We recently stayed for four nights with our 7 month old daughter and had a truly fantastic time. So nice to get away from everything and try something a little bit different.
Plenty to do in the local area including some lovely river/ forest walks right on your doorstep. We spent an entire day just chilling in the yurt/ garden area and our little one clearly loved it. Just got back from a 2 night stay at Shayne & Nathan’s Yurt. We couldn’t recommend it more, the hosts were brilliant, very welcoming and always there if you needed help. The yurt itself was lovely, very cosy with the log burner heating it up in around 15 minutes, and the cabin with the kitchen/toilet shower was great. The yurt itself was sizeable, homely and it didn't take long for me to settle in. I stayed alone in Shayne and Nathan's yurt and had an amazing time. Whilst the weather and my health wasn't fantastic I didn't take many long rambling walks as I'd hoped, but snuggling in the yurt and it's beautiful surroundings was just as lovely. Nathan gave me a postcode and to warn others, if you are not coming in through the village as I didn't it may send you up a hill with a 'Cynwyd Forest' sign on the right as described in the directions, but it is not the right one! Nathan was patient and lovely with my lateness... read more - 07 Jan 2020
