    • Shayne and Nathan are absolutely amazing hosts - they were attentive and incredibly kind! They welcomed our dog with love and he happily played with their dogs as well! Our stay in their yurt has everything you want and more, we spent everyday either in the yurt, outside next to the BBQ pit or walking in the countryside that surrounds their home. It is beautiful, cosy and relaxing - highly recommendable! Thank you to Shayne and Nathan for making Josh's birthday special and very memorable!

    • We were two familes of four that booked the two Yurts for a 3 night stay over the new year period, and we enjoyed every second of it! What an absolutly fanstastic place to stay. The House manual is very thorough but all common sensse, as seasoned campers weren't put off. There are a few things to think about as the site is completley off grid, but all things that are considerate to conserve enery and the environment.

The Yurts are amazing and extremly compfortable and to wood stoves heat them up so quickly to the point of us stripping off and opening the door in the middle of winter. The beds are very comfortable and there seems to a be a nice relaxing calm that decents when yoa are inside the Yurts. The cabin with range size cooker and all the tools you need was a nice extra and the table comfortable sat all 8 of us round for our meals. The Cabin also has a toilet and shower which is also a nice luxury when staying in the outdoors. I however prefered to fully emerse myself in the experience and opted for the Sawdust toilet.

Nathan was a fantasict host who generally left us to it, however was there if we needed. He offered some great advice about the local area and a walk upto the the 'Liberty Bell' which covered many different terrains and caused lots of laughs when we expected a fully funtioning hunting lodge where we could maybe have a pint and it ended up being just the ruins of the old building. We also ventureed to Bala for a walk round the beautiful lake new years day and the sun was shining so we all went in for a paddle but all ended up wet through. We all returned to dry out rpound the fire pit while toasting marshmellows.

All in all both adults and children loved every minuite of our time there and will be booking for another long weekend in the summer. If your considering this i's say just book it and enjoy.

    • The yurt at Shayne and Nathan's was absolutely lovely. A very authentic yurt in true Mongolian style.
The kitchenette and toilet facilities were private, modern and very well equipped.
True glamping with a sustainable twist, a real find and a beautiful location!

    • My partner and I spent 3 nights in Shayne and Nathan’s yurt, location was amazing, great to sit outside on the hammock chairs and listen to the birds. The yurt was cosy just such a great place to stay. My partner was ill one of the days and the hosts made sure he was ok which was really appreciated. dogs and chickens were also very friendly! Loved our stay.

    • After reading all the amazing review's on Nathan and Shaynes place we were super excited for our little break away, all expectations were met and exceeded. A beautiful space and such welcoming friendly hosts, you will not be disappointed. The yurt was cosy, clean and exactly as decipted on the photographs we viewed beforehand. There is a well equipped kitchen and fitted bathroom, though we did all our cooking on an open fire under the stars- absolute bliss. Llangollen is a beautiful town just 20 minutes drive away, we would recommend there for a day out! Though the ground and walks surrounding the site are worth investing a day into also.
Thank you so much for having us, we can't wait to come again!
