Totally secluded & remote spot. The yurt is an incredible structure & super cosy (we stayed in November) The cob round house is stunning. It's obvious that a lot of graft has gone into planning and creating this space - respect to Shayne & Nathan for their amazing efforts there.
Bit of advice if you're planning a trip here... the hosts send a link to a video on how everything works (off-grid & eco), it's a long video but try to watch it through to the end because it explains how to get hot water, then you won't be having a cold shower, like me! (the hot water works fine, I'm just an idiot)

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at Shayne and Nathan's yurt! The location is absolutely stunning, photos don't do it justice.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need and we had no problem at all with any of the amazing off-grid systems. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable, and perfect for me, my husband and our dog Lucy.
We had some beautiful walks and being 20 weeks pregnant I loved falling asleep in the hammock on the decking! Would love to visit your beautiful home again one day, thank you both for a beautiful relaxing stay! 🙂 x

Fantastic find, very peaceful, quite and quaint, just want we wanted, when the fire was on the yurt was very comfortable and toasty. Star gazing was magical as no light pollution could see everything constellation,
No need to set alarms here and the pheasants wake you up around 7:30 is which was lovely to listen to with a morning coffee in the crisp Welsh air
Very responsive hosts, always messaged back quickly, very clear instructions to find the yurts, couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Thank you

We've just got back from a weekend away here and the scenery/location was fab! Exactly what we wanted for our relaxed getaway and we got very lucky with the weather too which is a plus!
There isn't much if anything to complain about really, we just wish the lights of the porch of the yurt worked as it would of been nice to sit out there past dark. Even if they are just for effect, it would of been nice to have that experience.
Also when it gets dark, it's pitch black so make sure to take plenty of light sources to help get you to the bathroom at night time.

We had an excellent weekend staying in one of Shayne and Nathan's yurts, situated in a tranquil Welsh valley. Our only suggestion would be to rethink the quantity of pre-arrival info guests are required to engage with. There's over 2,000 words for the guest rules, which is also accompanied by a 30 minute intro video. The rules are all very reasonable and fair, but having to engage with that amount of info felt a bit excessive for a 2 night stay! Otherwise one of the best glamping experiences we've had so far -- thank you.

We have just returned from a very peaceful few days in the yurt. The outdoor firepit was fantastic and we enjoyed foraging for some wood in the forest (logs also available to purchase). Our fire was rained off on our second night (we managed to cook our burgers on it first) but the covered porch meant we could remain outside in nature with our music playing and a nice rum to keep us warm.
The yurt is spacious with a comfortable bed. The yurt warms up quickly with the log burner. We didn't leave the area on our first 2 days, choosing to walk in the forest, which is on your doorstep.
Day 3 we ventured out to Ruthin, the Gaol is an interest place to visit.
The rain was heavy so we decided to try a Sunday lunch in the Cynwyd local pub, the Blue Lion. The food was delicious and there was a friendly atmosphere in the pub. We then holed up in the cozy yurt and played games for the evening.
Definitely a place to visit for peace and relaxation in nature. 🙂
