It is a magical and powerful space…some call it a temple…with its amazing reciprocal frame roof and large central skylight that resembles a vortex to the higher realms…
The Roundhouse is an oval shaped timber frame straw bale building sitting at the heart of Ty Mam Mawr (House of the Great Mother), a peaceful and magical eco retreat centre high in the Berwyn Mountains in North Wales.
This space provides a calm and nurturing atmosphere that is conducive to letting go and allowing oneself to leave behind the worldly life.
Safely held inside The Roundhouse, we can sink sink deeply into our true essence, connect to nature and find the bubbling joy of being that is in our hearts.
With room for 8-10 yogis or 20-25 folk sitting, Ty Mam Mawr straw bale roundhouse is suitable for yoga classes, dance and music workshops, meditation retreats, seminars, team building events and much more…
When hired with both yurts the roundhouse will also accommodate up to 6 single mattresses.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch and discuss your requirements.
The roundhouse was lovingly brought to life over the course of five months in 2017 by Nathan and Shayne working with a brilliant team of dedicated volunteers.
