Greener Glamping

Posted on October 4, 2020July 30, 2025 by Nathan Green

So we are really pleased to announce that not only have we been certificated by the Greener Camping Club, we’ve also now sent our new Greener Glamping website live at greenerglamping.uk.

Our new site is specifically for renting the yurts only and not the whole of Ty Mam Mawr retreat centre.

    • We stayed here on the coldest , snowiest nights of the year and it was incredible!

We had to walk up the 1 mile path to the yurt because it was so icey but it was quite fun. Once we got there, Nathan met us and showed us round, everything we could need was either in the kitchen or yurt.
The yurt itself heated up really well and we were never really cold until the morning , but once we started it again it was fine!
Everything about the stay was really cosy and lovely and Nathan and Shayne were really communicative and helpful.
Thanks for a great stay, would definitely come again! Xx

    • My partner and I spent 3 nights in Shayne and Nathan’s yurt, location was amazing, great to sit outside on the hammock chairs and listen to the birds. The yurt was cosy just such a great place to stay. My partner was ill one of the days and the hosts made sure he was ok which was really appreciated. dogs and chickens were also very friendly! Loved our stay.

    • This was mine and my husbands first experience with Airbnb and we were not disappointed. We booked this beautiful yurt to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we were not let down. It is absolutely beautiful in a stunning location. Very welcoming and always on hand when needed. Great recommendations on where to go. We had some fantastic walks with our dog and built some great memories. Highly recommend coming to stay here.
