Greener Glamping

Posted on October 4, 2020July 30, 2025 by Nathan Green

So we are really pleased to announce that not only have we been certificated by the Greener Camping Club, we’ve also now sent our new Greener Glamping website live at greenerglamping.uk.

Our new site is specifically for renting the yurts only and not the whole of Ty Mam Mawr retreat centre.

    • A really wonderful place in the middle of nature. Great place to relax and to do some hiking in the surrounding nature.

    • Brilliant trip. The yurt was beautiful and cosy. Even though it rained for most of our trip we were determined to go out walking, but we were able to come back and cosy up to the indoor wood burner, listening to the rain on the roof. On a clear night we sat out by the outdoor fire pit enjoying the stars. The kitchen had everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning too.
Nathan met us on arrival to show us around, he was very welcoming and friendly. Whenever we needed anything we just sent him a quick message and he was there to help. He was also happy to sit and chat to us when we wanted to ask them about their experiences building the site.

    • My partner and I spent 3 nights in Shayne and Nathan’s yurt, location was amazing, great to sit outside on the hammock chairs and listen to the birds. The yurt was cosy just such a great place to stay. My partner was ill one of the days and the hosts made sure he was ok which was really appreciated. dogs and chickens were also very friendly! Loved our stay.

    • This was a delightful yurt with beautiful views, comfy hammocks, and a lovely cosy interior. All amenities provided, and lots of lovely outdoor space. Nathan provided us with useful local knowledge including a great wild swimming spot and where to get food! We loved our stay, highly recommend!
