Greener Glamping

Posted on October 4, 2020October 4, 2020 by Nathan Green

So we are really pleased to announce that not only have we been certificated by the Greener Camping Club, we’ve also now sent our new Greener Glamping website live at greenerglamping.uk.

Our new site is specifically for renting the yurts only and not the whole of Ty Mam Mawr retreat centre.

    • Just back from a fabulous three day break in the Welsh mountains at one of the most unique airbnb properties we have ever stayed in.

The location was excellent, being conveniently placed to access most of North Wales abd the yurt was everything that we expected, and yes, while we were in fact living off the grid, Shayne and Nathan made sure that the whole experience was extremely comfortable with plenty of hot showers and great kitchen facilities (and even wifi if you just have to keep in touch with the outside world but much better to leave technology behind and enjoy a more natural way of living)

The yurt itself is a work of art and with the stove burning bright, a wonderful place to be on a winters night under what seemed to be a million stars.

Highly recommended and hope to come back and share again Shayne and Nathan's unique way of life. Communication was prompt, directions accurate and check in was easy.

      You won't be disappointed.

    • Nathan and Shayne were very welcoming, the yurt was very comfortable and had a great view. There is plenty to see and do around the yurt. Had all the amenities that we needed. Would recommend a stay at this yurt.

    • Friendly and welcoming hosts, very knowledgeable about the area with great walking route tips (and friendly dogs who might want to join you!). The hosts are very respectful of you being on a quiet, eco-friendly holiday. It was cosy and peaceful in the little yurt for me and my best mate. Comfy beds for both and fleece blankets available to sit on the porch on colder evenings. The log burner is so effective and the view from the porch tranquil. We loved the hammock seats outside. The decor really adds to the relaxing vibe with wall hangings and ambient lighting. Kitchen facilities really are top notch too. It's an impressive off grid system and as eco friendly as possible too.
Beautiful and welcoming place, amazing walks all around. Perfect weekend away from noisy towns and concrete jungles.
Hope to be back next year! :-)

    • We absolutely loved staying in the yurt, it has such a cosy wonderful vibe to it and the location was beautiful. Everything about our stay was amazing, can’t fault a single thing. The location was great for walking and getting to near by towns and the yurt and all the amenities were super clean. Shayne and Nathan were on holiday so we didn’t get to meet them but there friends were super helpful and showed us around. We will definitely be going back again!
