Greener Glamping

Posted on October 4, 2020July 30, 2025 by Nathan Green

So we are really pleased to announce that not only have we been certificated by the Greener Camping Club, we’ve also now sent our new Greener Glamping website live at greenerglamping.uk.

Our new site is specifically for renting the yurts only and not the whole of Ty Mam Mawr retreat centre.

    • Absolutely brilliant experience, would highly recommend. The location is out of this world. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. Nathan, the host, was soooo helpful, nothing too much trouble. We slept like babies in the yurt, the bes was so comfy. I think the mountain air helped too. A very wonderful holiday, in a gorgeous part of the world. We will definitely be back

    • Our remit was for somewhere remote, where we can get away from the world and relax, and just explore the beautiful surroundings - Nathan's place hit the bullseye. Nathan was there when we arrived and showed us what we needed to know. The yurt had lots of added extras you don't always expect such as crockery, pans, cutlery, tea/coffee etc. and was all set up for us when we arrived. The Yurt (large) was huge and was exactly what you would expect. There are so many different walks to go and explore the stunning surroundings and if you want some time away from the 'rat race' I can thoroughly recommend this place, it will not disappoint.

    • We had an amazing time, the yurt is incredibly cozy, warm and homely (smells great too!)

Me and my partner both argree that this is the nicest place we've stay so far, the entire atmosphere they've created there is beautiful.

Both of Shayne and Nathan are very welcoming and a joy to be around, which meant at no point did we feel like we're 'just' hiring the yurt from them for a few days. It's honestly felt like we'd be there for a lot longer.

We couldn't of asked for more.

    • The hosts and the yurt were amazing! The pictures really don't do the place justice. It was my first time using airbnb and i couldn't have asked for a better experience, and as a surprise stay over for my girlfriend on our way back from walking Snowdon. Nathan was so welcoming when we arrived, he showed us around and then left us to it, extremely friendly and approachable had we needed anything. The yurt itself was so cosy and comfortable and bigger than expected. The views were wonderful and sounds of the fire pit with the nearby stream were so tranquil. Everything we needed and more was ready waiting for us, and it was great fun sitting on the hammocks in the morning with the chickens coming to say hello. Brilliant experience and i'm sure i will be staying again!

    • There's fantastic! Beautiful view, very well equipped kitchen, comfy sleeping area and a lot of space for your belongings. Everything is accurate as per described. We are so happy with our choice and would definitely recommend it. :)))
