We had a fantastic stay in the yurt, and can’t wait to return! Stunning, peaceful location on the edge of the forest, with waterfalls and hiking paths on your doorstep. The facilities are outstanding: a very well-equipped kitchen, delightful hot shower, wifi, and fire pits. Shayne was a warm host, giving us plenty of local advice. Thank you!

I stayed alone in Shayne and Nathan's yurt and had an amazing time. Whilst the weather and my health wasn't fantastic I didn't take many long rambling walks as I'd hoped, but snuggling in the yurt and it's beautiful surroundings was just as lovely. Nathan gave me a postcode and to warn others, if you are not coming in through the village as I didn't it may send you up a hill with a 'Cynwyd Forest' sign on the right as described in the directions, but it is not the right one! Nathan was patient and lovely with my lateness as I didn't make it at the time I had hoped! There are many walks around and a large map in the kitchen with suggestions and OS maps to borrow if you require. The yurt and kitchen/shower is spotlessly clean, however be mindful that the yurts and area is respectfully very eco friendly so plastics/wet wipes and a disregard for this (ie taking long showers) would be disrespectful to the ethos. The kitchen has good amenities but make sure you take anything you need food and drink wise as well as seasoning etc. Thank you both for your lovely hospitality and I hope to come back when I am less contagious!

This place is stunning. The yurt sits 400m above a sleepy Welsh village called Cynwyd. We arrived in the evening and woke up to gorgeous views, all covered in snow. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed, and firewood was cheap and readily available for the stove in our yurt, keeping our stay cosy. Only a short 50 minute drive to Snowdonia national park, I fully recommend this as a place to stay if you'd like to climb Snowdon. Will definitely come back.

What a beautiful place! The yurt is comfy, cosy and the perfect place to unwind for a few days. The cabin next door with kitchen/bathroom was great. The location is breathtaking, with beautiful views and walks on the doorstep. Nathan and Shayne are lovely hosts - kind, welcoming and helpful. What a find - we'll be back!
